It's the same width as your standard guitar strap and I'm pretty sure you could use it for one, in a pinch. The snaps function well and the embroidery is very pretty. I don't know it will be for sturdiness because I'm a purse on the weekends person, but I think as long as you're not yarding on it every ten seconds you should be good.Honestly for the price point I'm not sure you can do any better.
