Feels incredibly durable, waterproof, it's actually a little too big for my purposes. I returned this and bought the quarter dome instead. I added all of my gear including two 70 m ropes and still had plenty of space. At some point it's like moving with books, the box becomes too heavy lift. You could probably carry your own porter in this bag.I call mine that because carrying this massive green apparatus is an unpleasant experience, though that would apply to most large haul bags. I hope you have cleared a 12-foot tall path to the base of the wall, otherwise you will be on your butt when the first branch cuts across the trail overhead, or you will be bear-crawling the whole approach. Neither is pleasant.Almost essential to get *very* thick cardboard to line the inside, it is flimsy and will buckle often., difficult to get it stand up on its own while empty or nearly empty, compared to competing products. Not because the material is weak, its tougher than woodpecker lips, but its just too large and floppy. If you dont line it with something, you will have one flaccid cucumber of doom on the wall that will be hard to get things in and out of, especially on slab. Don't use your bedrolls, because getting those back in there when its hanging in the air is a nightmare. The closure system on top is awesome. Much better than any other brands, in my opinion. Much more weatherproof, durable, and still has gaps for a drinking tube to go through. The gear loops on the inside make it easy to hang things or dummycord pouches for easy fishing. The bottom has a crossing attaching loops that protrude just enough to get something clipped to them. This is very nice, compared to other brands where the crossing straps have no give to them and if the bag is full-weight you're having to really fight to get that biner back in there if you ever take it out. Recommend a maillon/clevice/quick link and just leave it there permanently and clip things to that rather than to the straps themselves.
